Well... And that single place got me... Had to use electric
fence and gdb to find it... And well... I wanted the stuff
to work, and since I suspected, there are other places... I
commented the safe_free out and noted in the commit-msg
about it.

Luke, we had some mails about this stuff at that time. ;-))
