yep.  and it's not guest, it's "anonymous" access.

the decision as to whether to allow "guest" access or not is to specify,
on samba, "guest ok = yes" in the [global] section, and on NT to enable
the "Guest" account, and set the "Password not required" ACB bit on it.

this is *totally* different from "anonymous" access.
