Yup, me like very much...

There are a number of places where I've really wanted to return False
up the parsing routines to indicate an RPC fault. This being now
possible will make our RPC subsystem more stable.

Also nice to see the membuffer hack improved on.

Oh, and good luck with that merge... :-)
