Log Message:
Ensure that incoming usernames and *plaintext* passwords only are
converted to UNIX character set format from DOS codepage format.
Also ensure that usernames are converted from UNIX character set
to DOS codepage format before being used in client code.
Passwords used in client code and passwords set via the smbpasswd
utility need to be fixed next.
