one pipe (or more to the point, one call) should still be supported.
failure to do so will result in nt workstations thinking that they are
talking to a thick, down-level CIFS server, not an nt server.

this will result in old bugs showing up as the nt workstations start
mysteriously using non-NT SMBs.

the call that must be supported is "NetServerGetInfo" and we have had a
hard-wired version of this call for a number of years in versions 1.9.16
at least, up to the current 1.9.18.
