well, hooray.  first time _ever_ that a list of 129 shares appeared
off of a samba server, fron an NT workstation (each with a share
comment of "really long comment to get buffer overflow").

there are some odd interaction problems between smbclient and smbd
because i do two separate SMBreadXs - one for the header (24 bytes)
and then another for the data (length of which is specified in the
header just read).

so, currently we have an "amateur" setup.  now for the "professional"
one (more robust...)
