rsync segmentation fault on asuswrt router

I (used to) use rsync on my Asus RT-BE92U router, it's installed using opkg
from the entware repositories.

I have tried removing and re-installing it but it still segments:-

    chris at rt-be92u# opkg remove rsync
    Removing package rsync from root...
    chris at rt-be92u# which rsync
    chris at rt-be92u# opkg install rsync
    Installing rsync (3.4.1-3) to root...
    Downloading https://bin.entware.net/aarch64-k3.10/rsync_3.4.1-3_aarch64-3.10.ipk
    Configuring rsync.
    chris at rt-be92u# rsync
    Segmentation fault
    chris at rt-be92u# 

I have asked about this on the SNBForums support page for Asuswrt but have no
response there yet. I am a bit stuck for other places to ask for help about
this. Any ideas would be most welcome.
