"--write-batch" should generate verification data

I use "--write-batch" and "--read-batch" with great success so far, but
I find disturbing that no verification is taking place. I would love to
have an option to augment the datastream with hashes of the files, in
order to verify the reconstruction. I don't care about performance, if
that is optional.

Am I missing something?
