I am new to usage of this mailing list, I have was going through some of
the archives to see if my question is addressed already but I could find
it. I could see mostly people are discussing about issues with rsync. My
query is not much related with issues with rsync but it is related to
compatibility of latest version of rsync with older version of linux.
I have two systems with linux kernel version one with 2.6.10 and one with
2.6.14. both of those system use rsync version "2.6.8". I am right now
checking the feasibility of porting newer or latest version of rsync on the
system with "linux2.6.10" and "linux 2.6.14".
Is "rsync 3.0.9" supported on older version of linux?
