Delete directories without browsing them

Thank you for your answer !
Don't you think that it could be interesting to have the possibility to skip this checking, to ask Rsync to start deletion from the top of the hierarchy ?
It would for sure speed up deletion of huge directories, like common daily backup directories (made for example with --link-dest).
