Fwd: Rsync fails mid way after transferring 400GB

Hi,

Rsync was running all fine and was able to transfer about 400GB of data . It
fails all of a sudden with the follwoing error. Trying to restart the job
gives similar error.


rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(632)
[sender=3.0.4]

 [6676] rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far)
[sender]

 [6676] rsync error: unexplained error (code 128) at io.c(632)
[sender=3.0.4]

Is there any known  issue about this  problem.
