problems with rsync and novell nss volumes

what version of rsync on each end?
what are the nss volume attributes?
im familiar with nss on netware but not on linux
there must be some kind of attribute mapping going on there.

can you create the following files to test a transfer:

A1.txt
a1.txt
A1A.txt
a1a.txt
A1a.txt
a1A.txt

tell us how they transfer
