installing rsync-3-0-5 on a Mac

Alternatively, you can just install your freshly compiled version of  
rsync by issuing the following command :
"sudo make install"

Then when you want to use this version of rsync issue the following  
command :
"/usr/local/bin/rsync"

This way you will not have any issues with system updates. In  
addition, if any utilities expect the standard apple version to be  
installed in the default location they will continue to work as  
expected.
