Increase verbosity (-vvvv) and show us what happens when the client XP machine
tries to connect to the server.
Wait a minute, can one use ssh at the transport and still connect to an rsync
daemon module?
Loose the --rsh=ssh or the double-colon destination and it should work.

Is there a VPN involved? Could this be a transport issue?
