$RSYNC EXIT STATUS

My understanding is that $RSYNC_EXIT_STATUS only reflects errors that
the daemon has a reason to know about, not errors that are the
client's business.  So, which of the exit values listed in the man
page can actually appear in $RSYNC_EXIT_STATUS?
