RSync across cross platforms question

Hi,

We use rsync utility for one of our applications which runs on the AIX
platform; currently syncs content between two AIX servers. We now need
to move this application to another environment which will need to sync
content between linux and iseries operating system. Are there any issues
with being able to set this rsync up?

 

Any help with this is appreciated.
