Rsync 2.6.0 compile problem

I saw no error messages in what you posted  Perhaps the
warnings you saw are specific to your platform and compiler.
If not, then the developers are well aware that the build has
associated warnings.

Did you try using the build application?  A first step would
be to see if it works for you.
