port and double-colon

Good catch!  I hadn't noticed the former, and was mistakenly thinking
that --port wasn't needed by the client code.

I've checked-in a fix for this, which was basically your suggested
changes with some minor alterations (such as leaving out the call to
lp_rsync_port() in the client code).  I also added doc changes.
