Skipping Directory

Hello,
 
I have a rsync process in a PHP-Script via shell-exec.
My command looks like as following: rsync -az -e ssh ......
At a lot of directories, I have the message: "skipping directory"
 
Why did I have this message and how could I synchronize this directory.
