Using a normal modify-window of 0 and a big WARNING in man and readme 
(and in my cygwin package announcements, I'd say) for the few people 
that actualyl need it would be enough, I guess.
Detecting FAT-ness of the filesystem is way too clunky to be the 
default, imho...
