RegExpr in ---exclude

Hi there,

is it possible to use regular expressions in the exclude-paramter of rsync ?
For example:

rsync --exclude "/path/to/*/[Ff][Oo][Ll][Dd][Ee][Rr]"

I've tried it, but it will take no effect.
