Owen,

Good point - I wasn’t clear in my question.

I’d like to be able to use my smartphone when I’m out and about to:
	firstly control some relays hung off a system at home, behind a firewall,
	second half would be to check the status of inputs (because it’s possible).

Initially, the interface will have to be a web browser, but that leads to an App.

thanks very much for your responses - no need to apologise for ’noise’ - was a helpful response and showed up I hadn’t been clear.
