+1, though my reasons are more due to family reasons (dad's taxi), than COVID-19.

Sadly it would seem to be that way. Adding up the number of Sweden's COVID-19 deaths below 50 years of age, I counted 72, compared to the total of 5,821 deaths.

Deaths: 5,821

+1 (not that I have ever had any success trying to get people to converse via this email group, maybe we would need another email group so we don't clog up people's in-boxes)

+1 I have been reading up on BigBlueButton. While it is not without its issues, I have used it and find does a great job. It has nice break out rooms. There are other opensource video conferencing solutions, too. Openmeetings comes to mind.

We would have to get our own pizza (or choice of food), and eat together, as one suggestion.

Does the ANU have video conferencing systems that people can use?

How do people feel about security in today's world?

CR evaluated videoconferencing privacy policies and found these services may collect more data than consumers realize

We could all use voice changers and wear Anonymous masks ? (please note I am joking, this is satire)
