[clug] OT / JOBS: Red Hat jobs in Canberra

Hi all,

As some of you may know, I work for Red Hat.  We often have jobs to be filled
here in Canberra; here's the two current listings for example:

My simple, not very complete description of those roles is:

Consultants work on projects for customers over a fixed term - deploying new
products, doing upgrades, and being a product specialist.  Sales specialists
work with customers to learn their requirements and propose a whole solution
that a customer can buy, including implementing it themselves or possibly
using our partners or our consultants.

I'm biased here, but I think Red Hat is a pretty good place to work.  We have
a nice office, we have a pretty good office culture, the training is good, and
there are lots of smart people to learn from.  If you want more information,
please feel free to drop me a line.

The other advice I'd give for people interested in working for Red Hat is: we
often have developer and security jobs available that can be done remotely.
Try searching the jobs site for the role you want (i.e. without specifying
location), and then apply and see if you can work from Canberra.  You can work
from home, in the office, or a combination of the two.
