So you're happy to ask things from others, but don't do the very same
thing for your own talk?  I didn't see any such list attached to your
talk.

You're referring to a 10 year old article?  That's a lifetime in IT.
In the professional area, I'd contest that Linux and open source _is_
winning.  Microsoft are working with Canonical to provide Windows
Subsystem for Linux. Over 50% of the VMs running on Microsoft's cloud
are Linux and increasing every day, and arguably MS are one of the top
contributors to open source.  Microsoft have been proclaiming their
love of linux since around 2015, and even bought GitHub in 2018, one
of the largest open source code hosting platforms.  You can run Linux
containers on Windows in a supported and documented way.  So, so many
things have changed. Not that I'm saying Microsoft are the best
company in the world, but keeping a view from 2009 alive today is not
the most accurate portrayal of the situation now.  Things are a lot
more nuanced now than ever before.
