[clug] Alternative desktop view for Ubuntu 16

Hi John,
It does handle multiple "workspaces" but you configure them by adding
the workspace switcher applet to a panel which allows you to add/remove
workspaces. The hotkey for switching workspaces can be done by
selecting settings in the Preferences menu the Dives -> keyboard and
set the "Move to workspace left/right" options.
