Hi all,

I'm in the process of updating a package that's found in GitHub and Pypi to
add python3 compatibility and a few extra functions (googleearthplot), and
was wondering what should be done with copyright notices - do I add my name
and the year in which I did the work? And is there a way to submit the
result to the people who look after what pip serves up to us?
