[clug] Android and USB cameras via OTG. Any suggestions?

I have used software called  'Scopecam'  by  'Chinsources Electronics'

I cannot guarantee that it is not malicious, though the fact it only requires 
access to :
   Photos/Media/Files
   Camera
I found somewhat re-assuring.

I have used it successfully on my Sony Z3 Compact with a :
  Endoscope thingy  (0bda:5801)   Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
  Micro Scope  (1871:7670)		 Aveo Technology Corp.

And yes the light coming on only means that there is power available.
