I may be a tad sensitive to this admittedly common misuse of the term
(after 8 1/2 years at the National Archives) but please, please, please...

Long term archival *storage* makes sense. Long term *archiving* makes
sense. Long term archival is a horribly abandoned adjective in search of a
verb. Please don't do that.
