Seems OK. Has entries for the server I'm SSH'ing to

$xauth list
<server>/unix:11  MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1  <blah>
...

$ xauth info

I had already got suss of this and removed the file so should be OK.
Permissions are good too. (600)
