[clug] iView on a TV that doesn't support it

I recently also found that I couldn't view ABC-iview on Firefox or Chrome
(Linux Mint 17 on three different computers). There was some suggestion I'd
come across somewhere that there was an extension available for Chrome (or
Chromium) that fixed it and it did:

"HTML5 Video for ABC iView 0.1.3

Replace Adobe Flash with native HTML5 video tags for video playback on
iview.abc.net.au"

A search for it under settings/extensions ("abc -iview") should find it.

This replaces Adobe Flash with the more modern HTML5.

But I then couldn't watch SBS-on-demand on Chrome/Chromium but that is
still viewable on Firefox (although you might have to ignore/override the
warning about the Shockwave Flash 11.2.202.424 plugin vulnerability. The
suggested solution, to update the plugin, won't work, as far as I know, as
it is no longer maintained for Linux by Adobe.)

So Chrome for ABC-iview; Firefox for SBS-on-demand. I don't know about the
other online services.

Regards
Norm Bakker
