Not actually my favourite, but one I've stumbled over several times
in the past week (because I am old and need to refer to the same
man page over and again... Others might resort to G00gle searching,
but I resist emphatically...).
from resize2fs(8) (on Debian Jessie):
"Note: when kilobytes is used above, I mean real, power-of-2
kilobytes, (i.e., 1024 bytes), which some politically correct
folks insist should be the stupid-sounding ``kibibytes''. The
same holds true for megabytes, also sometimes known as
