I actually got the "mainline" (that's what ubuntu call it) .deb from the ubuntu site and
manually installed it with dpkg.  What I'm seeing is possibly just a muon limitation but
I'm not that familiar with ubuntu.  My laptop is the only place I use it.  All other
machines I use are rpm based.
