Internode supplied me a generated password when I bought their service.

I've never bothered changing it. It's long-enough and probably only
brute-force crackable. [I *presume* all customers get unique passwords!]

Can't recall ever being asked for it...
But its one that, like you, I would hand over to a Tech there.
