Happens on devices where there are two file systems. One fat32, one a
CDROM type. Also with access controlled sticks where there is a small
software and device management partition. The rest is a seperate partion
and encrypted in some way. Often not visible to Windows or directly
mountable by anything else.
Some devices like phones seem to have a small software partition for
Windows interface software and a second device as a placeholder for a
microSD card. This appears as a device which is empty.
