[clug] Learning 'R'. Any courses in Canberra? Other resources?

I need to bang around some figures and produce graphs and probably need
to learn 'R'.

Can anybody suggest how I might learn 'R'??

I've struggled with the built-in help files and this is my second go at
doing something useful with it.
