Kate and I recently bought a Xenyx 302 USB-powered mixer that's also a USB
input and output and fulfils all of youre requirements. We plugged it into
Fedora 16 and it Just Worked, recording a microphone straight to Audacity
without any problems. It was about $80 from memory from Pirana Music in
Mitchell.

Hope this helps,

Paul
