Hi Paul!

Welcome to the CLUG list!  We've all got something to learn here :-)

One of the great things that Linux users seem to find, in my experience at
least, is the library of programs that is available.  It really changes your
way of seeing software - from this disparate collection of things scattered
all over the place that you have to manually go and find and install, to a
simple, single place to find software.  I've tried about half a dozen music
players, for example, all installable from my distro's repositories.  So
much easier than finding those separate programs, installing them, and then
cleaning them up afterward.

And the same system keeps themselves up to date, too.

Anyway, welcome, and please feel free to ask questions on the list.  It
often rewards well asked questions :-)
