Full source? What about USB support, which requires their "extension" pack?

the full source code of VirtualBox, and you can distribute and modify

As for VirtualBox itself, I've had trouble moving VMs between two Debian 
PCs. One has to export the appliance using VirtualBox. No such troubles 
with VMPlayer, where one can just tar up the VM subdirectory and copy it 
to another host.
