Interesting stuff. He's missed one really neat algorithm for finding all the
words that contain a selection of letters, and there's a couple of interesting
features of his discussion about generating secure permutations that bear on
generating any random sequence. I'll tell you what:
Let's try a "Favourite Algorithm" night. Come and tell everyone about some
clever algorithm that you really like, something really intrinsically neat.
Duff's Device, red-black trees, Dijkstra's Algorithm, Burroughs-Wheeler
Transform, even quicksort or binary searches are welcome! Being able to
implement the algorithm in a programming language is considered a bonus.
