[clug] CD recycling trip

Does anyone have any of the clear plastic DVDs/CDs WITH grooves? These were
once used as top/bottom spacers in DVD/CD packs. The clear DVDs make great
transmission diffraction grating. e.g. look at a street lamp THROUGH the
DVD hole,
hold the disk close to one eye and then move it toward the light. There
will be a
point at which bright circles of coloured light appear. This is the lamp
spectrum. In more recent packaging, the clear grooved DVDs appear to
have been replaced
by clear or black solid plastic disks. If anyone has the clear plastic
grooved version I would be
pleased to take possession. BTW, it is possible to delaminate DVD's,
but this is a pain.

Thanks,

Steve.
