Hi, the Boot-Repair program works well for me. I installed Ubuntu on a usb stick, booted it, then downloaded and installed boot-repair. Picked the partition where distro was installed, selected mbr, done. http://sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair/home/Home/ cheers Pete
