[clug] Very slow loading of web pages in Firefox on Ubuntu 11.04

Hi All,

I have Firefox 6.0 Ubuntu for canonical 1.0 on Ubuntu 11.04 gnome
installation.  The loading of web pages is very slow even though the
wireless connections indicates a 48 Mb/s connection speed.

Does anyone have any idea why loading the web pages would be slow? Where
should I look in Firefox or Ubuntu settings to increase the speed?
