I have been tossing up the idea of giving a talk on the ConTeXt
typesetting system.
ConTeXt is a sort of alternative to LaTeX. In one of my projects (a
PHP webapp), I generate nicely typeset forms and letters on-the-fly
using ConTeXt.
This being a proposal for a PSIG talk, I imagine the most relevant
aspect would be how I've done the programming side of it, but I could
also dip into what differentiates ConTeXt from LaTeX, and its general
strengths and weaknesses.
I would not be surprised to find that there is a deep overlap between
people who like writing code, and people who care about quality of
typesetting. =)
Cheers,
BJ
