Just saw this on hacker news. Support for USB peripherals although it 
keeps talking about the peripheral being in host mode (haven't read to 
doc all the way though yet).

Native in 3.1 has been back ported to Platform 2.3.3, API Level 10 with 
the inclusion of Google API library. Expect to see an explosion of USB 
devices both from manufactures and hobbyists for Android in the near future.

Could be real fun to hook up a Software Defined Radio (SDR) to an 
Android Tablet. The idea of turning a tablet into a digital CRO/spectrum 
analyser has also long been on my mind.
