	CLUG Programmers' Special Interest Group Meeting - 9th June 2011

Speaker:	Paul Wayper

Abstract:	Paul will be giving a talk about the Go programming
		language. 
		
		Go is a new compiled language with modern syntax and
		some highly innovative features. Driven by Rob Pike at
		Google, it aims to learn lessons from languages such as
		Perl, Python and Lua yet deliver a compiled, compact
		standalone executable. 
		
		Over the previous weekend, Paul has been learning how to
		write Go programs and will be sharing his experience so
		far in this talk.
