Pipped at the post! I now have the new key on my computer (somewhere).
Using gpg to fetch the new signing-key worked:

[felixk@ ~]$ gpg --recv-keys AED4B06F473041FA
gpg: requesting key 473041FA from hkp server pgp.mit.edu
gpg: key 473041FA: public key "Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (6.0/
squeeze) <ftpmaster at debian.org>" imported
gpg: no ultimately trusted keys found
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: imported: 1 (RSA: 1)

The next step - getting "apt" to recognise the new key - failed. The
output of the command that was described in the URL was:

[root at carrot ~]# gpg --armor --export AED4B06F473041FA | apt-key add -
gpg: WARNING: nothing exported
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.

What have I missed?
