Speaker: Brad Hards
Abstract:
Getting more from KDE with KRunner
A little known, but very useful feature of KDE is
KRunner (which is usually what happens when you press
Alt-F2). Brad will start the talk with a short
demonstration of its capabilities, followed by a
description of what is happening "under the bonnet"
and how you can use it to speed up your normal workflow.
Many of these techniques will also work on Gnome. This
talk is suited to most users, from Linux beginners to
experienced programmers.
Venue: Room N101
Computer Science and Information Technology Building
North Road
The Australian National University
See http://clug.org.au/ for more directions and a map

want some.
