My aged computer has 6 USB ports; the keyboard and the mouse use 2 of 
these and the other 4 are spare.  It is on the cards that my keyboard and/
or my mouse are "power-hungry".

I shall soon know when my ordered USB-hub arrives and is tested.

Again, a "thank you" to all who took an interest in my problem and 
widened my (computing) horizons.
