Canberra Linux Users Group Meeting - 25th November 2010
	=======================================================

Date: 25th November 2010 (Fourth Thursday of the month)

Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (or when it finishes)

Speaker:	Owen

Abstract:
Owen will be talking about Scribus.

Scribus is an Open Source program that brings
award-winning professional page layout to Linux/UNIX,
Mac OS X, Windows desktops and, most terrifyingly, OS/2
Warp 4/eComStation. It caters for the most simple
newsletters and flyers to the most demanding
professional printing jobs, with full CMYK separation
		and ICC profiles.

In this talk Owen will give an overview of how Scribus
works, some of the basic ways to use it and answer the
myriad questions that CLUG-goers are so good at asking!

Venue: Room N101
Computer Science and Information Technology Building
		North Road
		The Australian National University

See http://clug.org.au/ for more directions and a map

Food/drink:	Pizza and soft drink/juice. Come hungry, and bring
about $6 to cover the cost of your share if you
		want some.

If you would like to give a talk at a future meeting, please email me.
